Dugout

Warm days with a breeze call for light easy clothing, and I'm all about that if you've been following me. This linen dress is a few years old and just got pulled out the summer bin a few days ago. It can be worn like so or paired with some skinny jeans. I like clothing that you can get more ways of wear out of. Later!

As Simple As It Gets

Happy Memorial Day!! The simplistic approach to this outfit is exactly how today feels; easy and carefree. Most days my mood is determined upon the weather and when it feels like this, it takes no time to find what to wear. I love my laid back chill days and dressing this way. Should be the start of a great week!

Bohemian Life

Im a 70s' baby all the way and I have really been feeling this bohemian style. The flare jeans have made a comeback and I had all the right pieces in my closet to put this look together, down to the wedges that have never been worn. I love this look because just like the 70's era, I feel free in these clothes, no restrictions, and even my hair is flowy (lol) Also, with festival season at it's peak, these looks have been trending anyway.  More of these looks ( I promise) will be coming soon!

Happy Sunday! The wind made this post very challenging and the sun went down as soon as we started taking pictures. This is a monochromatic look and one that I've been favoring a lot lately especially with the great weather stay tuned for more looks like this. Have a fabulous week!

In The Mix

Easy weather calls for easy clothing. This was pulled together so easily for me. Boyfriend jeans, in any material, even khaki as I've styled here are so versatile. You can dress them up or down, and they never fail. Spring has me pulling out all my sandals already! I'm always impatient for days like this. So glad they're on the way.

When It Rains...

It literally starting pouring down as soon as I left the house to take these pictures. You can't tell from the pics that it's coming down, but then that could be due to the great person behind the camera (Thanks Tiris!) We had to move fast and I must say when a lot of thought isnt put into the shoot, it comes out great! Enjoy your weekend!

Cake Pops

Today I'm taking a step away from fashion to discuss something else I'm passionate about. A few years ago, three to be exact, I found out that I enjoy making cake pops. It really came by chance that I began doing it. I was planning a friend's baby shower and I already knew that I wanted to have cake pops. I had recently been introduced to them because I was gifted some for my birthday the year before. I had never heard of them and found that my sweet tooth loved and craved the cute little lollipop looking treats! Well, when I found out the price of these cute treats, there was no way I was paying for them for only the few that I needed for the baby shower anyway. In steps my creativity. I always loved baking and wanted to pursue cake decorating for awhile. This was the chance to put my skills to work and did it work?.. YES! My first round were a hit and I surprised myself because I tapped into something that I never knew I had a passion for. I took a cake decorating class and quickly learned more decorating techniques. This now has become a passion which has led me to   making other things; among them, the chocolate covered strawberries and other treats. This will be my showcase space for now when I make cake pops. I have had orders requested for events and I truly enjoy seeing others happy with what I've created. I have some other projects brewing that involve cake pops that I will soon share, and I will say.. it's going to be exciting! For anyone interested in placing an order for cake pops, please contact me via email at tammylb30@yahoo.com. Requests can be made for strawberries, chocolate lollipops, Oreo pops, choc covered pretzel rods, and mini desserts including chocolate mousse, strawberry cheesecake mousse, and banana pudding. Because I only have pics of select items from my phone the pictures may not be the best quality, but Im working on a website that will showcase everything. Thanks for the support!

End note:  I will say that I can see my progress with this. Some of these were my earlier creations from 2 years back. I have definately grown in my craft and have learned that consistency is key.

Blanket Scarf

The blanket scarf has been on trend for awhile now. It can be worn so many different ways but I chose the basic wrap for this particular post. I actually had this one for awhile and have only wore it a few times. I have so many scarves and usually some get more love than most. My hats have been my saving grace too in this brisk weather. I'm a shoe and bag girl, but hats have made their way into my heart now. Stay warm!
